AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers
The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, medical students, dental professionals, etc.) the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
This course is intended for healthcare professionals such as physicians, medical students, nurses, nursing students, CNA’s, dental professionals, etc.
This program is certified by the American Heart Association.

Focal Points
This course covers how to provide high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, use an AED, provide effective ventilations using a barrier device, and removal of foreign-body airway for adults, children, and infants.
The course also covers the importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR and the AHA Chain of Survival, with a focus on the BLS components.
